All fees include a Shwayder Camper t-shirt, a session picture and a cd-rom of your child's experience at Shwayder.

General Information

The difference between Member and non-member rates reflects a tuition adjustment, which is funded by Temple Emanuel for its members.

Registration must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of $200.00, per camper, per session. The balance of the fees is due in full by April 15, 2010.

Our capacity is 120 campers per session. Registration priority dates are set for three categories. Any registrations received prior to the appropriate priority registration date will be held for processing on said registration date. You may send in a form after your application period has begun; but it may not receive priority once other categories have begun to register.

Registration Priority Dates

Once a session is filled, names will be placed on the waiting list.

Campers who wish to attend multiple sessions must indicate which session is preferred on the registration form. Such campers will be enrolled in one session and placed on a temporary waiting list for the others.

Upon acceptance, you will receive a packet confirming your registration, which will contain all of the necessary forms and instructions. It will be necessary for your child to have a physical examination within six months of the camp season.

Shwayder Camp is available to all without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, religion, or physical disability.

Discounts

Many families send more than one child to camp. Consequently, we offer a 10% discount for each additional camper that a family sends to Shwayder.

Financial Aid

A limited amount of financial aid is available on a request and by completion of a confidential information form. Contact the camp office to request a financial aid application. Scholarship requests must be made by March 15, 2010. Applicants who are not members of Congregation Emanuel must first request financial aid from their home congregation or religious institution.
