At Shwayder camp, we group children by the grade that they enter in the fall that follows the summer they're at camp. Please review the session options below to find a session that works for both your calendar and your child's grade eligibility. For example, if your child is entering 7th grade and wants to attend a two-week-long session, they can only attend in Session 3, because A and B session types do not include 7th graders. The difference between member and non-member rates reflects a tuition adjustment, which is funded by Temple Emanuel for its members.
Registration must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of $350, per camper, per session.
The balance of the fees is due in full by April 1, 2027.

Discounts and Financial Aid
Financial Aid: We are committed to ensuring that every camper who wants to attend Shwayder Camp is able to, regardless of financial ability. Financial aid is available on request and by completion of a confidential information form. Here is how to apply for financial aid:
Applicants who are not members of Temple Emanuel must first request financial aid from their home congregation or Jewish community agency.
Sibling Discount: Many families send more than one child to camp. Consequently, we offer a 10% discount for each additional camper that a family sends to Shwayder.
